Holmes Family Theater

Added July 6 2004

At the moment our home theater is called "The Holmes family home theater" but will eventually get renamed, likely to "Shadowfax theater".

All of the work was done by myself over a span of about a year and was done on quite a reasonable budget. The "lobby" area was finished last December and features a ticket booth, some home made mylar light boxes and aso a home made poster light box.

The theater is about 11ft wide at the screen end, 15ft wide at the back and about 24ft long. It features a home made fibre optic star panel that is about 4' x 8' in size , white rope perimeter lighting around the ceiling and red rope lighting around the steps.

The walls are a deep purple called "admiral" and the ceiling is flat black.
